About Virginia - the Peace Muse
When I packed up for this trip to our beautiful, blue planet I made a special request for the gift of creativity to help me stay awake as I traveled the travails and joys of my life's journey. The pen and ink, the brush and color were the tools I would need to find my way.
I wandered for many years, asleep amidst the sleeping, well rewarded for conforming. I feared the power of the truth inside me and what might happen if I released it. But the cosmos conspired otherwise and sent messenger after messenger and miracle after miracle forcing me to dig beyond the self-doubt and perfectionism to reach deeper for the tools that I was meant to wield.
My path opened up when Intentional Creativity was gifted to me by my mentor, messenger, and miracle, Shiloh Sophia McCloud. Pushed, prodded, unable to escape the questions and queries, I found my way to the gifts I had packed away so long ago.
Now, my art is my truth, my path to peace, and my gift to others to help them unpack their own tools and truth.
I paint to inspire kindness and compassion through art, words, and actions. I wish to walk the earth gently, with integrity, and for my creativity to move hearts. I want to feel generous, kind, courageous, and self-confident and to wake in the morning feeling a sense of abundance and freedom with the ability to put all of my focus on creating a kinder, more compassionate world.
When people work with me or experience my art I want their hearts to shift and open wider. I help them feel connected to others, to the planet and all of its inhabitants, and to slow down and notice the miracles that surround them every day.
I am here to help shift the divided, antagonistic, competitive way humanity experiences life and provide opportunities for people to realize that becoming whole and sharing their beautiful, authentic, sacred self is their greatest gift to this world.
But most of all I want them to realize that love is limitless.
